Origin Skin is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment where people can feel comfortable in their own skin.

We welcome people of different ages, cultures, ethnicities, abilities, body types, sexes, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations and backgrounds. This includes actively supporting and welcoming LGBTIQA+ people and respecting each person's name, identity, pronouns and privacy.

 

Diversity in skin & treatment

Australia is a diverse and multicultural community, and there is no single standard for what skin should look like.

Skin tone, melanin, genetics, health, hair characteristics, vascular characteristics, healing responses and other individual factors can influence treatment suitability and response. We aim to assess each person individually rather than make assumptions based on their appearance, identity or background.

Treatment is always a personal choice. Our role is to provide respectful information and honest guidance, not to promote one ideal of beauty, ageing or skin.

Origin Skin acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and recognises their continuing connections to Country, culture and community.

We are committed to treating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients with dignity, respect and cultural consideration.

Real people & representation

Our Real People ethos means we want Origin Skin to reflect the genuine diversity of the people who make up our community.

Some lifestyle and illustrative imagery used on our website has been digitally created, including with generative AI. These images are used for illustration and representation and are not presented as Origin Skin clients or treatment outcomes unless expressly stated.

As Origin Skin grows, our aim is to increasingly work with and fairly compensate everyday people across a broad range of ages, skin tones, genders and backgrounds to create genuine brand photography, with clear consent over how their images are used.

Discrimination, harassment or degrading behaviour has no place at Origin Skin.
