Whether your lips have changed over time or are naturally finer, you may wish to restore or enhance their appearance. At Origin Skin, Fotona LipLase® stimulates collagen within and around the lips, supporting subtle fullness, smoother texture and definition through natural-looking rejuvenation.
What affects lip volume & definition?
Lip shape, size and fullness are naturally different for everyone. Some people have genetically thinner lips or less defined lip borders, while others naturally have more volume. These differences are a normal part of facial anatomy and don’t require treatment unless they’re something you personally wish to address.
Over time, natural ageing can also reduce collagen and structural support in and around the lips, contributing to gradual changes in fullness, firmness and definition. Sun exposure and repeated facial movement can further influence the texture of the lips and surrounding skin, including the development of fine lines.

Treatment Details
We treat both inside the mouth and externally across the lips and lip border, using controlled laser energy to stimulate collagen remodelling.
Treatment Sensation
You may feel warmth, heat or a tingling sensation during treatment. We adjust treatment settings where appropriate for your comfort and individual response.
After Treatment
You can usually return to your normal routine straight away. Temporary warmth, redness, mild swelling, dryness or peeling may occur. Keep your lips moisturised, use an SPF lip balm and avoid unnecessary sun exposure while the area settles.
Results & Sessions
Results develop gradually as your collagen remodels. We typically recommend a course of around four treatments, spaced approximately four weeks apart, with maintenance treatments where appropriate.

Please tell us if you have a history of cold sores, as treatment around the lips may trigger a recurrence. We won’t treat over an active cold sore and will advise you on appropriate precautions before treatment.
