Origin Skin aims to make thoughtful choices that reduce unnecessary waste and environmental impact where practical, while never compromising client safety, hygiene or quality of care.

Our approach

Where reasonably possible, we aim to:

• operate as a digital-first business and reduce unnecessary printing;

• use recycled, recyclable or responsibly sourced materials where practical;

• reduce avoidable packaging and waste;

• manage stock carefully to help minimise unused or expired products;

• consolidate purchasing and deliveries where practical;

• recycle appropriate office, packaging and electronic waste where facilities are available; and

• reduce unnecessary energy use in the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Some clinical materials must remain single-use or be disposed of in specific ways for hygiene, infection-control or safety reasons. Environmental considerations will never take priority over appropriate clinical practice.

Growing responsibly

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing consideration rather than a claim of perfection. As Origin Skin grows, we hope to explore further opportunities to improve our purchasing, waste management and supplier choices, as well as future community or environmental initiatives where these are practical and meaningful.

We aim to communicate our environmental efforts honestly and avoid making claims that extend beyond what we can reasonably support.
